Summary
This site is a static page that calculates dates entirely in your browser. We don’t collect personal information through the calculator, we don’t maintain user accounts, and we don’t sell data. The site is published by POW XD Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. The third parties involved are Google (advertising through AdSense, and Google Analytics) and the affiliate network Awin, all described below.
Information we collect ourselves
The calculator runs in your browser. The resignation date and notice period you enter are reflected in the page’s URL so you can share or bookmark the result, but the values aren’t transmitted to us. We don’t maintain server-side logs of who visits the site or what they enter.
Cookies and similar technologies
There are two separate consent choices on this site:
- Analytics (our banner). Our own cookie banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics cookies. It covers analytics only. We use a small amount of browser local storage to remember your answer so the banner isn’t shown on every page. Our banner is not a Google-certified consent platform.
- Advertising (Google’s message). The Google AdSense script loads on every page. For visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, Google shows its own consent message, provided through Google’s certified consent management platform under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. That message asks for your advertising consent and records your choices.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertising on this site. AdSense is provided by Google LLC and uses cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. The AdSense script loads on every page, whatever you choose on our analytics banner. If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, Google shows its own consent message, which asks for your advertising consent and records your choices under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. What Google does with ads and cookies then depends on the choices you make in that message, and you can change them later through Google’s privacy and cookie settings link on the page. Our analytics banner does not control advertising.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ad Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and which calculators are used. Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC and uses cookies and similar technologies to measure site usage. Google Analytics runs in Google’s Consent Mode with analytics storage set to “denied” until you accept analytics on our banner. Until then no analytics cookies are set, Google may receive cookieless pings, and our own events (listed below) are not sent at all.
The events recorded are: a calculator being used (with the notice period chosen), a result being copied, a share link being clicked, an option in the “What happens next?” section being chosen or clicked, an affiliate link being clicked, and a click on the “I’d buy this” button on the “coming soon” pack card (which records only the page and situation, not who you are; we don’t ask for an email address). IP addresses are anonymised before being stored. No directly-identifying personal information is recorded.

Affiliate links and how the site is funded
The site is free and is funded by advertising and affiliate links. Some external links — for example to a budgeting app, a CV builder, online courses or a freelance marketplace — are affiliate links through the Awin network. They are labelled “Affiliate link” or “partner link” where they appear. If you click one and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links carry a rel="sponsored" attribute and open in a new tab. Awin records the click with a reference that says which page and placement it came from, not who you are.
We only link to programmes we have been accepted into, we show at most one or two after a result, and only where they fit the situation you picked. They are never a substitute for the free calculators, and nothing on this site is legal or financial advice.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, or object to the processing of personal data we hold about you, as well as the right to data portability. Because we don’t hold server-side personal data ourselves, most of these rights are exercised against the third parties listed above — their policies are linked.
You can change your analytics choice at any time with the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. Advertising choices are managed in Google’s consent message (UK, EEA and Switzerland).
